Feeling tired after a long day, I was walking to a new swimming complex. It is situated within walking distance from my home (dream home, not real home). One of 2 swimming pools had sparkling blue water indicating depth; while the other was crowded with many people.
I had in my hands, goggles with the lastest inter-changeable lenses (not sure if this really exist!) and was deciding which lens to use. Should I use the dark, clear or blue lenses? Hmmmm..... As the sky was starting to lose light, I decided to use the clear lenses.
First thing's first, I need to change into my swimsuit. With the goggles in one hand and the black one-piece swimsuit in the other, I walked leisurely towards the changing room.
The door to the ladies locker room opened to a winding doorway and several doors. I pushed open one of the door and saw a narrow downward sloping road to what seemed like a busy street. There were many pedestirians and triple-decker luxurious buses. The road was dirty and wet. It didn't occured to me how strange all these are, but I just closed the door.
I tried the next door, there stood a naked woman showering with her back facing me, I closed the door queitly so she would not notice.
The next door I tried opened to a empty shower, but has another door opened on the opposite wall. Changing into my swim suit while trying to keep the 2 doors closed prove to quite a chore, but I managed to do it.
I left my things in a locker, and wear the key on a rubber band on my wrist.
I swam with such grace. I could feel the water rushing by me as I swim. I could feel the strength in my arms, the coolness of the water, and simple sense of relxation from the speed. It's as if I was being cleansed, not such my body, but my soul as well.
